Game Description

Granblue Fantasy is set in the Sky Realm, a vast world where countless islands float amidst a wide blue sky. You take on the role of a skyfaring captain, accompanied by Vyrn, a feisty little dragon, and Lyria, a mysterious girl with extraordinary powers. Together with a lively crew of diverse characters—including kings and outcasts—you set sail for Estalucia, a legendary island at the edge of the skies.

Overview

In the Zegagrande Skydom, islands are protected by primal beasts, powerful creatures that rule over the land, while the winds carry whispers of a secretive group known as the Church of Avia. As you journey, you uncover a deep web of mysteries stretching far beyond Zegagrande, and you’ll fight to decide the fate of the Sky Realm itself.

The game features real-time combat, where you lead a party of four in this character-driven action RPG. Choose from a large cast of skyfarers, each with their own unique weapons, skills, and fighting styles. Party-based mechanics like Link Attacks and Chain Bursts allow you to unleash powerful combos and finish off enemies in style. You can tackle quests solo or join forces with others in 4-player co-op mode to take down dangerous enemies and collect rare loot to enhance your gear. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of both enemies and your party is key to securing victory.

If fast-paced combat isn’t your style, the game includes Assist modes for players of all skill levels. Full Assist mode can even automate all actions during battle, allowing for a more accessible gameplay experience.

The Sky Realm is rich in lore and history. At any point, you can browse through Lyria’s journal to read up on the world’s peoples, places, and history. Beyond the main storyline, there are numerous side quests to explore, and Fate Episodes that delve into the personal backstories of each crew member!
